Preserved steam locomotive 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley departing from Bury station on the East Lancashire Railway heritage line in England.. 60007 is a sister locomotive of world speed record holder 60022 Mallard, which is currently on static display in York Railway Museum. 60007 holds the post-war speed record for a steam locomotive on the UK rail network. 60007 was named after the designer of the class Sir Nigel Gresley.

I love how these old preserved trains are always so shiny and polished on their outward journeys, nice shot

Thanks Michaela. There is a school of thought among some enthusiasts that they don't look authentic if they are too clean, and they prefer a bit of a weathered look, because they rarely ran so clean in proper steam days.
